Company President Cliff Parks is a board-certified and registered professional engineer and a graduate of N.C. State University. A former manager for Duke Energy, Cliff has owned and operated Outdoor Lighting since 1996, when he started out with a single bucket truck in Durham. Cliff is a licensed electrical contractor.
Operations Manager Mike Smith supervises the workforce and daily workflow for both the Durham and Charlotte shops. Mike is a licensed electrician. Mike worked for Duke Energy as a lineman and an engineer. Mike joined Outdoor Lighting in 1997.
Sales Manager Rodney Seibel troubleshoots problems, too. He helps clients solve their lighting plan and maintenance budget issues. Rodney’s expertise is sourcing and pricing material. He spent many years as Outdoor Sales Representative for Mayer Electric. Rodney joined Outdoor Lighting in 2014.
